Luxury safari outfitter African Travel is offering great travel advisor incentives for trips reserved in 2022 along with enhanced client experiences and add-ons on select itineraries.

Travel advisors who have a group of 10+ clients traveling together can book a new group safari by Dec. 15, 2022, and earn an extra $500 along with their commission (for full terms and conditions, please contact the agency). Every group journey is customized by African Travel and popular last-minute group trips have included multi-generation trips to South and East Africa, heritage and cultural explorations in South Africa and best friends’ getaways.

With space at a premium and couples and solo travelers wanting to join more set group departures, the luxury safari outfitter has added more dates to its small group departures, and clients can book 2022 trips by Sep. 30, 2022, and enjoy fewer crowds, extraordinary wildlife and more savings before prices rise in 2023.

“Current travel trends are indicating that safaris are a top bucket list item since clients are seeking immersive experiences and we see pent-up demand including an increase in last minute safari bookings,” says Sherwin Banda, president of African Travel, Inc, in a press statement. “Africa will be welcoming the green season with baby wildlife in abundance and amazing animal sightings, so we encourage Travel Advisors to book their clients’ safaris now since space is limited on our most popular trips.”

Egypt

While Egypt cruises are nearly sold out this year, the Oct. 8 and December 3, 2022, Wonders of Egypt groups depart from Cairo to Aswan with touring and sailing on sister brand, Uniworld’s all-suite ship, River Tosca which has limited space. Extended stays are a major travel trend and clients are willing to go on longer trips. Clients can consider combining Egypt and Kenya with the new five-day Mara Wildlife Experience extension and enjoy the home of the Great Migration where they can cross the plains of East Africa with game drives, guided walks and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

South Africa

On the 10-day South Africa at Leisure itinerary, clients can explore this destination departing on Nov. 5, 2022. They will spend four nights at the Shamwari Game Reserve for incredible encounters with the Big Five, including rhino, leopard, lion and buffalo elephant.

Kenya

Guests can spend their Thanksgiving holidays on a Kenya Wildlife Safari, departing on Nov. 24, 2022. On this nine-day adventure, they will enjoy game drives in Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakaru and the Masai Mara.

Tanzania

For clients looking to travel in a small intimate group, African Travel offers no or low single supplements on its 2022 and 2023 safari vacation packages. On the 11-day Tanzania Explorer, guests can witness the great wildebeest migration during the green season. Solo travelers are being offered no single supplement on the Dec. 2, 2022 departure with limited availability.
