In Antigua, D-Boat offers families a high-energy water park experience. Moored by Maiden Island, D-Boat is an oil tanker turned water park located just offshore where kids and their families can speed down a waterslide, jump on a trampoline or swing off a rope out into the sea.
Kim Jack Riley, director of tourism, USA, Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority, says, “The D-Boat is a great experience for all ages, from kids to grandparents. While the kids are having fun on the waterslide, mom and dad can have cocktails on the deck. It’s ideal for a multigenerational group.”
Guests can also opt for a snorkeling tour to a nearby reef, upgrade to include a trip to Stingray City, or hang out on the beach at Maiden Island. There are several packages available, including the D-Boat Full Day Experience that starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. It includes the water park, lunch, snacks, open bar, snorkeling, beach access and WiFi; price is $110.
