Azzurra Castle, in Grenada, is set privately, behind a Moorish style walled gardens, located a 15-minute drive from the airport and 15-minutes to the nearest shops. Palm trees frame enticing views of the turquoise waters of the private shore and bay.
There are two separate dining areas filled with plants and large Moroccan lanterns, setting the ambiance for a romantic dinner by candlelight. Guests can step through to the second courtyard featuring a central swimming pool, bright with mosaic and fretwork and glimpses of the bay below. Large sunbathing patios and 4-bedroom suites surround the pool. Each suite has a large adobe style bathroom, a private patio garden at the rear, and the master room has a large sitting room/study. In addition, all suites have air-conditioning.
Once guests step down to the bay gardens, they’ll be met with a double daybed overlooking a lawned area with palms and leading to the Folly with two further bedrooms. At the foot of the gardens there is a private deck for bathing in the secluded bay with access to a small beach. Kayaks and rowing boats are also available.
The Castle has an air-conditioned cinema/media room with a large boardroom with cable TV and DVD Player. The villa is staffed by a housekeeper/cook. Food and beverages are not included, however clients can opt to have it stocked with beverages and groceries prior to arrival at the client’s request. Villa guests will enjoy full access to Mount Cinnamon Resort & Beach Club.
A minimum 7-night stay is required. Rates from Jan. 2 – Dec. 20 start at $18,000 a week, including tax. And for stays Dec. 21 – Jan. 1 rates are $25,000.00 a week, including tax.
