Hard Rock Hotel Marbella opened yesterday in fashionable Puerto Banús near Nueva Andalucia beach. The new adults-only property on the Costa Del Sol is managed by Palladium Hotel Group and is the third collaboration between the brands.

The interior of the 383-room hotel, designed by Studio Gronda, takes local cultural references like Flamenco dancing and art by Picasso and mixes it with Hard Rock’s signature musically-inspired aesthetic to create a modern design that references the 1960s style that defined the Costa Del Sol. The property features 16 suites in six categories ranging from the 312-420 sq. ft.  Studio Suite Silver to the 1,500 sq. ft. Rock Star Suite

Hard Rock Hotel Marbella has two restaurants—Sessions, which serves Spanish dishes, and Nu Downtown, an Asian-Mediterranean fusion eatery with live music—and three bars, including a sky lounge bar located near the V.I.P. infinity rooftop pool. There is also another swimming pool, a Rock Spa, Rock Om for yoga, a pet-friendly program and, of course, a variety of music amenities including The Sound of Your Stay which allows guests to listen to playlists inspired by the city they’re visiting.

Hard Rock Hotel Marbella also boasts music memorabilia associated with both Spanish and international musicians. Notable pieces include an acoustic guitar once owned by Elvis Presley, a satin purple jacket worn by Prince and sequined dresses worn by Lady Gaga.

Introductory rates start at €299 per night.
