Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio has expanded into the Arizona market with the addition of Hotel Adeline, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. This boutique property is located in Old Town Scottsdale, an area known for upscale shopping, an electric nightlife and various dining options.
Hotel Adeline completed a $13 million dollar renovation in 2018 throughout its 213 guestrooms, including five 700 sq.-ft. suites. Individual touches include rainfall showers, 50” LG Smart TVs, and desk units ideal for remote work and virtual meetings, plus a neutral color palette and artwork paying homage to the surrounding Sonoran desertscape. Communal areas throughout the hotel encourage socializing, including a lobby and lounge area with seating and outdoor courtyards. The property also offers its signature Selfmade restaurant, a full-service eatery showcasing seasonal American fare and featuring an alfresco patio and fireplace.
At the center of the property is Freestyle, a 3,000 sq.-ft. zero edge pool and lounge lined with private cabanas and offering views of the area’s Camelback Mountain. Returning in April to Freestyle is the property’s Liquid Sunshine live DJ sessions, taking place every Saturday. The program, which debuted in 2019, features DJ entertainment, outdoor games, and cocktails. Additionally, in 2021, the hotel will offer pink Bird Scooters for guests to explore the local community, and various activities including social hours and outdoor yoga classes, all adhering to the strictest standards of safety and cleanliness.
