Florida’s iconic Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa is moving through a major, multi-million dollar facelift that started with an in-depth redo of its guestrooms in late 2022, redesigning them with a modern take on the surrounding landscape. The completed rooms will be available for bookings later this year. This is the first of three phases that will include new family fun features and eateries, with a completion date programmed for early 2024.
“Our team recognizes the importance of enhancing our property and onsite amenities to reflect current trends and guest expectations,” said Angelina Covington, general manager of Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, in a press statement. “Updating the look and feel of the resort while continuing to provide the same great services and accommodations we have gained the reputation of providing for almost forty years, will further elevate the Hilton Sandestin Beach experience.”
New Guestrooms For New Memories at Hilton Sandestin Beach
The inspiration behind the redo of their 590 guestrooms and suites was to offer your clients a “home away from home” feel, and to that end, the resort gave the guestroom categories an overhaul, keeping their family-friendly style in focus: the new accommodations include a bunkbed haven, making it ideal for guests of all ages. High-tech touches are also being incorporated, such as motion-censor lighting under the beds, upgraded charging stations and elevated vanity stations with great lighting.
The hotel is still open during renovations, as they’re being done by floor and spaced out across the property’s two towers, Emerald and Spa.
The next two phases of the renovations will include a redo of the six on-site eateries, the three swimming pools, the beachfront deck space, the main public spaces, the full-service Serenity by the Sea Spa and much more. In essence, the Hilton Sandestin Beach will be a completely new property once the renovations are complete.
