The Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos knows a good thing when it sees it, and they’ve taken the viral Tik-Tok story of its first guests finding themselves as the only guests at their hotel and turned it into a billion-dollar experience. Say hello to The Billionaire Buyout.

“During the soft opening phase of the resort, we chose to limit the number of suites available for booking for an intentionally exclusive experience,” said Andreas Schmidt, Managing Director of Grand Velas Boutique and sister property Forbes Five Star Grand Velas Los Cabos next door, in a press statement. “Velas Resorts prides itself on offering the very best, not just in service, but also in food, accommodations, design, and experiences, so we opted for a gradual ramp up of the number of guests to ensure a vacation that surpasses expectations for any travelers who choose Velas Resorts whether they are our first guest or a repeat visitors years after opening.” It was during this time in January that @freedom_hustler husband and wife team found themselves literally the lord and lady of this 79-suite mansion.

Velas’ Legendary Service—On Steroids

With The Billionaire Buyout, your clients will be the focus of Velas’ already exquisite service: 180 staff will be at their service, including multiple top chefs, as well as all spa personnel. They’ll have the tequila tasting room to themselves, not to mention the pool with its stellar view. It doesn’t get more private than this, and the price tag for this exclusive 3-day stay for one couple is $600K. Oh, and clients can switch suites every night if they like. They’ll have private dining at Michelin two-star chef Sidney Schutte’s Cocina de Autor restaurant, airport transfer via helicopter and much, much more.

Suites to choose from include garden or ocean views, each one over 900 sq. ft. with a private terrace, a jacuzzi or plunge pool, or a fire pit. Of course, should the clients decide to suite-hop, the staff will pack and unpack their suitcases and bags, so no worries there. The vintage Dom awaits them when they step off their helicopter and into the suite. Breakfast? Why, yes, with caviar and truffles, of course, either on the terrace or on a floating tray in their pool.

Dining at Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos is augmented by access to the five fine dining restaurants at the sister hotel Grand Velas Los Cabos or the neighboring Mar del Cabo Hotel. Clients can also enjoy a private beach dinner with sunset views and appropriate wine pairing. Of note: The hotel has a Technogym fitness center with personal trainers to ensure beach-body readiness after all this good food.

Paddleboarding by The Arch with the Bella on hand.

It’s still whale season, and these behemoths can be best watched from the hotel’s beachfront infinity pool. Nightly activities include tequila tastings, Mexican chocolate and ancestral spirits dessert experiences, wine and cheese pairings and more. And then there’s the sunset yacht on the 55-foot Bella, for sunset views of the famous Arch.

When it’s time to say goodbye, a Mariachi band, and a staff line-up will ensure a proper sendoff.
