Club Med is adding to its family and wellness offerings this summer with the introduction of Mini Club Med +, designed for children aged 4 to 10, and Wellness Fusion experiences for adults. The programs are being rolled out across the company’s all-inclusive resorts in North America, Europe and Asia.

With Mini Club Med +, the hotel group is building upon its current children’s programming, designed around the six pillars of creativity, courage, connection, cooperation, cheerfulness and self-confidence, to offer more activities geared towards helping kids make new friends and enjoy just being a kid.

The types of kids’ activities featured in the enhancing programming include: becoming a nature detective by learning about local flora and fauna through a treasure hunt; work with other children to get a giant caterpillar moving; and ninja boot camp where kids works their teammates to skip, hop and jump over obstacles to cross the finish line.

And while their children are at Mini Club Med +, their parents can partake in one of the experiences associated with the Wellness Fusion program. The experiences are a mix of sports, mindfulness activities, exercises designed to reconnect with nature, healthy eating and spa treatments. Guests can choose from 20 land- and water-based sports, including pickleball, kayaking, windsurfing and, for the more adventurous travelers among us, the flying trapeze. Many Club Med properties offer up to four hours of yoga, including power yoga, family yoga and treetop yoga, plus various meditation experiences staged in an array of different environments. Hydrotherapy, temezcal and moonlight massages are among the spa treatments on offer, and healthy dining options include fresh fruit, green juices and plant-based menus.

“More than ever, our guests are looking for experiences that enhance their well-being and quality of life, as well as that of their children,” said Kevin Armstrong, sr. director of brand & communications for Club Med North America and the Caribbean, in a press statement. “Through our Mini Club Med +, we have created a unique approach to our children’s programming that spurs both the social and emotional development and creativity of our youngest guests while their parents can benefit from a complete 360-degree approach to their wellbeing with our Wellness Fusion offer.”
