After months of anticipation, visitors of Walt Disney World Resort can now shrink to the size of their favorite toys and step into Andy’s backyard with the opening of Toy Story Land.
Although the latest addition to Disney’s Hollywood Studios officially opened on June 30, 2018, Recommend had the chance to catch a sneak peek of Toy Story Land before the crowds of excited park-goers flooded in. With oversized objects and drawings from Andy scattered everywhere, plus green soldiers marching around giving orders and interacting with guests, heading over to this part of the park will leave Toy Story enthusiasts feeling like one of Andy’s toys hanging out in his backyard.
Toy Story Land features two new rides—the Slinky Dog Dash coaster and the Aliens Swirling Saucers—plus a new entrance for Toy Story Mania, which has long been a popular attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. When guests aren’t enjoying these rides, they can stop over at Woody’s Lunch Box to grab a quick bite to eat and escape the heat with some shade.
