Recently announced plans for the entertainment on board Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Edge promise guests the brand’s most technologically advanced main theater, the most production shows of any ship in the brand’s history, a large cast of world-class performers, and more entertainment venues than ever before, plus a children’s coding experience.
At The Theater on Celebrity Edge, guests can expect to immerse themselves in the show as the venue does away with curtains and seats guests around the four stage areas, which are accompanied by three gigantic, moving projection screens. The Theater also features two rotating spiral staircases, 10 synchronized panoramic projection screens, 16 video mapping laser projectors, aerial performance rigging, and more. The Theater will showcase five new full production shows, including the Shakespeare-inspired “A Hot Summer Night’s Dream.”
At The Club, guests will find different experiences to enjoy at all hours such as the Funovation Laser Maze Challenge and the Drone Hunting laser obstacle course during the day, and a Prohibition era themed club with a modern twist at night.
The Rooftop Garden offers guests experiences such as the Rooftop Concert Series and the Garden Cinema Series, which is the next evolution of the brand’s under-the-stars moviegoing experience with live musical performances.
Children onboard Celebrity Edge won’t be left out of the fun with the new ship featuring enhancements on the brand’s Camp at Sea. The program features more than 500 activities, including Celebrity’s first youth coding experience at sea, and two completely separate contemporary spaces—one for the kids and one for the teens.
