With Celebrity Edge less than three months from delivery, Celebrity Cruises has unveiled details of The Grand Plaza, which will serve as the epicenter of the ship.
The Grand Plaza draws inspiration from the elegant ballrooms, dramatic staircases and ornate chandeliers that marked the glamorous days of transatlantic travel and puts a 21st century spin on them. The Grand Plaza spans three decks at the heart of the ship and is crowned with a chandelier that is both a lighting fixture and an art installation. Down below, guests will find new specialty restaurants including Raw on 5 and Fine Cut Steakhouse on Deck 5, Le Grand Bistro and Cafe al Bacio on Deck 4, and the Grand Plaza Cafe on Deck 3. The Martini Bar, one of the most popular venues across Celebrity’s fleet, can also be found in The Grand Plaza on Deck 3. With venues serving guests throughout the day and night, The Grand Plaza will serve as the meeting place for guests looking for a cappuccino in the mornings, afternoon tea or pre-dinner cocktails later in the day, and live music at night.
