Under Canvas has introduced ULUM, a safari-inspired luxury outdoor resort brand whose first property is set on 200 acres in Moab, Utah, integrated naturally into a desert landscape of dramatic cliffs and the stunning Looking Glass Arch.
With a design embracing the contours of the land, ULUM Moab envelops clients in comfort and luxury as each of the resort’s spacious, 360-sq.-ft. Suite Tents feature a king-size bed, plush linens and robes, a lounge area with a queen-size sofa bed and chairs, and a private 70-sq.-ft. deck. A rustic sliding barn door reveals an ensuite bathroom with rain shower, polished concrete sink and plant-based bath products.
Natural woods and organic textiles are used throughout, while an evaporative cooling fan and wood-burning stove provide the perfect sleeping environment from spring to fall.
When clients venture forth, they will find all the amenities expected from a luxury hotel, including upscale dining, dipping pools and complimentary wellness and lifestyle activities such as guided yoga, stargazing, onsite hiking, live acoustic music and evening s’mores.
