Regent Seven Seas Cruises
The newly reimagined Compass Rose aboard Grandeur.

As I write this, passengers aboard the Regent Seven Seas Mariner are on a daytime crossing of the Panama Canal. The crossing will lead to adventurous excursions all along South America, followed by cruising the Pacific Ocean for more explorations in the South Pacific, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Last Saturday marked the start of this year’s 145-day World Cruise on board Mariner, which ends in Barcelona on May 30, and what a festive send-off it was. Recommend was there to partake in the gala that bid bon voyage to the ship and its passengers.

It was a stardust-filled affair on board Mariner, where World Cruise passengers, media and Regent Seven Seas Cruises executives, including the cruise line’s new president, Andrea DeMarco, were treated to a culinary feast at Compass Rose and then serenaded by award-winning entertainers Jane Krakowski and Tituss Burgess.

The dazzling gala was just a taste of all the fun passengers on board Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ 2023 World Cruise will have as the Mariner crisscrosses the world. Regent’s World Cruises are so popular, in fact, that when the 2025 World Cruise, Away in Wonder, on board the Mariner was announced in mid-2022, the cruise was already sold out before officially opening for bookings. The 2025 World Cruise, the cruise line’s longest at 150 nights, embarks on Jan. 7, 2025 from Miami to San Francisco, sailing three oceans, visiting 97 ports of call in 25 countries on five continents and covering 36,295 nautical miles over more than five months.

Beyond the World Cruises, Regent has an array of offerings for your clients, including new Grand Voyages for 2024-2025, ranging from 63 to 83 nights (we’ve got the 4-1-1 on that here) as well as the line’s new 2024-2025 Voyage Collection, offering 160 new port-intensive itineraries (that’s 21 more sailings than the cruise line’s 2023-2024 season), including two brand-new 14-night sailings in Alaska, a break-away from the traditional 7-night sailing.

Grandeur Set for November Debut
A Faberge Egg Objet that will reside permanently at sea? Yes, Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ new ship, the 732-guest Grandeur, set to debut this November, will be home to this beautiful art piece, and will play host to two exclusive Spotlight Voyages that will immerse guests and art enthusiasts into the world of Faberge and provide exclusive access to Faberge experiences and experts on board these sailings.

The Egg Objet, by the way, will be the anchor to the ship’s multimillion-dollar art collection, but there’s so much more to this new ship. Passengers will find 15 suite categories, a rejuvenated Observation Lounge and a reimagined Compass Rose restaurant. Grandeur’s inaugural season will include 17 voyages in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, plus two transatlantic crossings, all ranging from seven to 16 nights in length.
