80s icon Boy George was one of a kind, and one-of-a-kind Virgin Voyages is taking his hit song “Karma Chameleon” back to the future with their new video, “The Voyage,” which kicks off their new brand campaign, “Now We’re Voyaging.”

The third installment of the Virgin Voyages’ epic story that began back in 2018 with “Stay the Course” and continued in 2021 with “Set Sail the Virgin Way” when they launched the brand, kicked off with a unique video shot entirely aboard the brand’s first ship in the fleet, Scarlet Lady. Instead of Boy George, the reimagined video stars pop artist Drew Love, a new tropical beat and a case of real Virgin Voyages Crew members and sailors. Acclaimed director Jonas Akerlund—of Madonna, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and beyond fame—created a “cinematic journey through 24 hours at sea,” basically a musical retelling of first-hand experiences onboard that will serve to inspire your clients to book their travels with Virgin Voyages.

“We have won the hearts and minds of hundreds of thousands of Sailors who have fallen in love with Virgin Voyages because we created an experience everybody could love,
said Nathan Rosenberg, chief brand officer of Virgin Voyages, in a press statement. “As we continue to showcase our ships to the world, we wanted to share what it’s like on board based on what our Sailors have told us and shared on social. It features real Crew and is a celebration of travel and Voyaging. “The Voyage ” music video shows this in such a unique and relatable way, from a quiet and restorative feeling, to a dreamy, curious and energetic state.”

Coming Soon to Virgin Voyages

Virgin Voyages’ adult-only fleet will be expanded by two new ships in 2023, Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady, that will be sailing off into the sunset in exotic new destinations including Greece and Australia.
