Virgin Voyages Brings Brilliant Lady to LA with Wellness‑Driven Programming

Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady is on her way to Los Angeles, arriving on April 6, 2026, marking the brand’s first West Coast homeport deployment. The arrival follows a 16-day sailing from Miami through the Panama Canal, with calls in Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Mexico.

Tailor-Made for the LA Crowd

The deployment represents a milestone for the adults-only cruise line as it enters the West Coast market with new programming, particularly around wellness and active passengers. A key focus of Brilliant Lady’s onboard experience is expanded fitness and wellness offerings.

The ship introduced a series of new concepts designed to align with demand for health-driven travel, such as Radiance, a guided morning wellness experience combining breathwork, movement and music in a group setting.

The ship’s cycling studio features eight themed Vibe Rides, each designed as a curated fitness experience with distinct playlists and themes inspired by West Coast culture and music. In addition, the onboard wellness bar, Juice Sea, has been expanded to include cold-pressed juices, made-to-order beverages and recovery-focused wellness shots.

From LA to Alaska

Brilliant Lady’s inaugural Los Angeles season begins with a 5-night “MerMaiden” sailing departing April 7, calling on Santa Barbara, San Diego and Ensenada. The ship will then operate a series of 5- to 8-night itineraries along the California coast through May, with additional ports including Catalina Island and San Francisco.

Following its California deployment, the vessel will reposition to Seattle for the brand’s first Alaska season, further expanding Virgin Voyages’ North American presence.
