Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is expanding its fleet with the announcement of the S.S. Emilie, a new Super Ship set to debut in Europe in 2026. The vessel, which will be built from the ground up, draws inspiration from the renowned Austrian painter Gustav Klimt and is named after his life partner and muse, Emilie Floge.

“We’re thrilled to introduce a brand-new ship to our fleet in 2026, just in time to celebrate Uniworld’s 50th anniversary,” said Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, in a press statement. “Our commitment to excellence is unwavering, and this outstanding new vessel reaffirms our dedication to providing the best and most luxurious ships on the rivers. We believe in delivering the highest level of quality to our guests, and our portfolio truly embodies the best of the best in the market.”

Uniworld’s Newest Ship

The S.S. Emilie is the latest addition to Uniworld’s growing collection of Super Ships. In 2024, the S.S. Victoria will begin sailing the Rhine and Moselle rivers, while the S.S. Elisabeth will start its journey on the Rhine in 2025. Over the past four years, Uniworld has introduced five other Super Ships to its fleet, each showcasing the unique character of the rivers they navigate, from the Mekong Jewel on the Mekong and the Aria Amazon on Peru’s rivers to its luxury vessels on the Douro, the Venetian Lagoon and the Nile.

Uniworld’s ships are renowned for their 5-star boutique hotel experience, offering your clients a luxurious and immersive way to explore the world’s rivers. Each vessel’s design reflects its destination for a unique sense of place and offers exceptional service, farm-to-table cuisine and exclusive tours that provide an unforgettable all-inclusive river cruising experience.
