Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a milestone sailing: a Golden Anniversary President’s Cruise hosted by President and CEO Ellen Bettridge, debuting Oct. 23, 2026.

“Traveling with our incredible guests is something I always look forward to, and hosting my 2026 President’s Cruise on our beautiful new S.S. Emilie makes it even more special,” says Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld, in a media statement. “With our 50th anniversary ahead, this is an especially meaningful year for us. We’ll be setting sail on a brand-new Danube itinerary, complete with a few special moments, activities and surprises to mark the occasion.”

The one-time-only voyage will sail on Uniworld’s brand-new S.S. Emilie, marking the vessel’s inaugural season and the line’s first new build in five years. The 10-day journey will introduce a new itinerary, Vienna & Capital Cities of the Danube. The journey begins with a luxury hotel stay in Vienna, followed by river cruising to Budapest, Belgrade and Bratislava.

New Super Ship Debuts for the Anniversary Season

The S.S. Emilie accommodates just 154 guests and draws its design inspiration from Austrian artist Gustav Klimt, incorporating Art Nouveau influences throughout the ship. The vessel is named for Emilie Flöge, Klimt’s muse and life partner, and features bold color palettes, gold accents and artistic detailing that align with Uniworld’s reputation for highly customized ship design.

In addition to Uniworld’s signature restaurant, lounge and bar, the ship will introduce a new accommodation configuration: guests will have the option to reserve a two-bedroom suite by combining a Grand Suite with an adjoining Deluxe French Balcony stateroom.
