The Kimpton x Tiny Zaps pop-up events will run monthly from April through June at five participating hotels, offering complimentary, exclusive tattoos inspired by each city’s culture. These curated designs, available to guests aged 18 and older, provide a new way to remember a trip, blending travel, art and self-expression.

For example, guests in New York can choose tattoos inspired by the iconic Theater District, while those in New Orleans will find designs that nod to the lively atmosphere of Bourbon Street. These events give travelers the chance to collect tattoos as lasting souvenirs, a modern take on the centuries-old tradition of sailors marking their journeys with ink.

“We’re thrilled to offer a one-of-a-kind experience through our partnership with Tiny Zaps,” said Vicki Poulos, Head of Luxury & Lifestyle Brands Americas and Global Kimpton, IHG Hotels & Resorts, in a press statement. “This partnership blends self-expression and travel, allowing our guests to connect with the cities they visit in a deeply personal way.”

The pop-up events will feature Tiny Zaps’ network of talented, local tattoo artists. Space is limited, and the following hotels will host the events:

  • Kimpton Theta New York – Times Square (NY): April 18, May 23, June 20
  • Kimpton Hotel Monaco (Washington, D.C.): April 5, May 17, June 7
