The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has announced that the 2026 Caribbean Showcase will be held in St. Kitts from Aug. 22-25. This event underscores ASTA’s dedication to enhancing partnerships between U.S. travel professionals and Caribbean destinations. The announcement was made by Hon. Marsha T. Henderson, St. Kitts’ Minister of Tourism, during a press conference on the island.

“The Caribbean Showcase is a cornerstone of ASTA’s commitment to building meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships between advisors and the destinations they sell,” said Zane Kerby, President and CEO of ASTA. “We’re thrilled to bring this program to St. Kitts in 2026, where advisors will gain firsthand knowledge and inspiration to better serve their clients while supporting the region’s sustainable growth.”

St. Kitts Ready to Host

Kelly Fontenelle, Chief Executive Officer at the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, noted in a press statement that hosting the event reflects years of strategic effort to elevate the island’s profile. “St. Kitts being selected as the host country for the 2026 ASTA Caribbean Showcase is a testament to the significant strides that the island has made in increasing its brand visibility,” said Fontenelle. “Travel advisors play a critical role in driving visitation, which is integral to our marketing strategy.”

Set at Marriott’s St. Kitts Beach Club, the 2026 Showcase will gather leading travel professionals, destination representatives and tourism leaders. The program will focus on education, connection and cultural exploration, offering a comprehensive understanding of the island’s tourism landscape. Attendees will participate in educational seminars, supplier meetings and curated excursions across St. Kitts and Nevis. These activities provide opportunities to engage with local partners and experience the region’s natural beauty, culture and hospitality. Minister Henderson will address participants during the general session, highlighting St. Kitts’ commitment to supporting travel professionals as key partners in tourism development.

Pre-registration for the 2026 Caribbean Showcase begins Oct. 30 for ASTA’s Ambassadors Circle members and 2025 Showcase attendees. ASTA chapter presidents, board members and Verified Travel Advisors can register starting Oct. 31, with general registration for all ASTA members opening Nov. 3. Given the limited space, early interest is advised to ensure participation in this premier regional event.
