Scenic Group is launching two Mah Jongg-themed cruises aboard Emerald Cruises in August 2027. The new sailings combine immersive Danube River itineraries with dedicated onboard Mah Jongg programming.
The 8-day Danube Delights — Mah Jongg Cruise itineraries will depart Aug. 4 and Aug. 11, 2027, sailing between Budapest and Munich with stops in Bratislava, Vienna, Dürnstein and Passau.

Onboard programming will center around American Mah Jongg, the U.S. adaptation of the classic tile-based game played using the annually updated cards from the National Mah Jongg League.
The themed cruises are designed for players of all skill levels and will include guided play sessions, instructional opportunities, hosted games and curated social gatherings integrated throughout the sailing experience.
Beyond the Mah Jongg programming, guests will also experience Emerald Cruises’ signature river cruise offerings, including shore excursions, destination-focused dining and intimate small-ship travel through some of Central Europe’s most iconic river landscapes.
