Royal Caribbean has opened Royal Beach Club Santorini, marking the cruise line’s first in Europe and expanding its portfolio of land-based destinations in the Mediterranean.
The new venue is part of the Ultimate Santorini Day shore excursion, available to guests sailing with both Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises. The full-day experience combines visits to Santorini’s iconic villages of Oia and Fira with access to the new beach club.
Located on a volcanic black-sand beach overlooking the Aegean Sea, Royal Beach Club Santorini features premium loungers and umbrellas, complimentary WiFi, an all-you-can-eat buffet and live DJ entertainment.
Guests booking the excursion also receive round-trip transportation around the island, including stops in Oia, known for its whitewashed architecture and blue-domed churches, and Fira, Santorini’s capital.
“We’re thrilled to connect guests with Santorini’s gems — from its iconic villages to the Aegean Sea’s famous beach club culture — creating a balanced, authentic island experience,” said Jason Liberty, President and CEO, Royal Caribbean Group, in a media statement.
Expanding the Royal Beach Club Concept
The Santorini debut represents the latest step in Royal Caribbean’s broader strategy to grow its private destination and beach club portfolio.
Royal Beach Club Santorini joins a pipeline of land-based offerings that includes The Cormorant at 55 South in Chile in 2026, Royal Beach Club Cozumel in 2026, Perfect Day Mexico in 2027 and Royal Beach Club Lelepa in 2027.
