Riviera River Cruises’ two new ships launching in 2025 will sail itineraries on Europe’s Danube and Douro Rivers. Riviera Radiance will be based on the Danube River and will sail six itineraries, including an itinerary exclusively for solo travelers and three holiday itineraries, while Riviera Rose will be based on the Douro River and will sail one itinerary. Riviera Radiance will sail six itineraries on the Danube River:

  • The 8-day Blue Danube and Blue Danube for Solo Travelers itineraries with tours and visits of the Esztergom Basilica, Bratislava, Dürnstein, Melk Abbey, Linz or Salzburg, Vienna and Budapest; a live classical quartet recital on board; and a Hungarian folk lore show on board.
  • The 15-day Budapest to the Black Sea itinerary with tours and visits of Kalocsa, Belgrade, Pleven, Bucharest, Constanta, Novi Sad, Vukovar, Osijek, Budapest, Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanassi, the Churches of Ivanovo, Belogradchik Rocks and Mesolithic Lepenski Vir.
  • The 6-day Danube’s Imperial Cities & Yuletide Markets itinerary with tours and visits of Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna and Christmas markets in each, and a live classical quartet recital on board.
  • The 8-day Christmas on the Danube itinerary with tours and visits of the Esztergom Basilica, Bratislava, Melk Abbey, Linz or Salzburg, Vienna; Budapest and Schönbrunn Palace; a live classical quartet recital on board; and a Christmas Day gala dinner.
  • The 6-day New Year on the Danube itinerary with tours and visits of Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna and Schönbrunn Palace and its yuletide market; and a New Year’s Eve gala dinner and midnight drinks and canapés.

The 443-foot Riviera Radiance features 89 cabins, including Riviera’s largest-ever suites, and amenities that include a new split-level bar and restaurant that provides an airy ambience, a bistro with open kitchen, a new third restaurant with tasting courses inspired by the rivers of Europe, a sun deck with pool, a fitness center, and a spa and wellness area.

Riviera Rose Explores the Douro Valley
