Swan Hellenic has prepared a new series of SCUBA-focused expeditions across four East Asia itineraries, adding specialized diving experiences to its cultural cruise portfolio in Raja Ampat for 2026 and 2027. The voyages take place aboard the SH Minerva, a luxury expedition ship designed for small-group exploration. Certified PADI Advanced Open Water divers can choose from two sailings in 2026 and two in 2027, each featuring professionally guided underwater excursions led by experienced dive masters.
“It gives us great pleasure to extend our guest discovery beneath the waves on these four exceptional voyages. They each bring a new dimension to exploration of the most biodiverse marine paradise on Earth—and exciting new opportunities to see what others don’t,” said Swan Hellenic CEO Andrea Zito in a press statement.
Swan Hellenic Takes You Deeper
Each journey, lasting 10 or 11 days, includes 5 to 6 organized dives operated from custom adventure dive boats. A full concierge service supports your clients, and all essential equipment—masks, fins, wetsuits, regulators and tanks—is provided. Keep in mind that travelers must supply their own dive computers and insurance. These expeditions are also open to non-diver companions: those on the same sailing can take part in snorkeling, nature viewing and cultural experiences typical of Swan Hellenic itineraries.
The dive schedule covers the top sites in Indonesia’s Raja Ampat archipelago, including Pulau Kri, Pulau Fam, Pulau Mansuar and Ayu Atoll. Each is reached via private dive boats, with all permits arranged in advance. Packages are available for both half- and full-day excursions.
Of note: Guests who book before the end of Feb. 2026 will also benefit from the Elevated Expeditions promotion. The offer includes combined savings, onboard credit, complimentary Wi-Fi upgrades and additional group perks for parties of 8 or more.
The first itinerary, Secrets of the Coral Triangle: West Papua and Raja Ampat, departs Sorong on April 18, 2026, and returns on April 28. Dives feature Blue Magic, Galaxy Reef, Cape Kri and other sites known for their diverse marine life.
Next is Heart of the Pacific Isles, an 11-night voyage sailing April 28 from Sorong to Manila. Stops include Pulau Penemu, Batu Rufas, Manta Ridge and Sawandarek Jetty, known for coral gardens, manta rays, reef sharks and perfect for underwater photography.
The same itineraries return in 2027 with Raja Ampat & Cenderawasih Bay: Indonesia’s Coral Triangle (April 16–26) and Raja Ampat and Philippines: The Last Paradise on Earth (April 26–May 7). The Elevated Expeditions promotion applies through Feb. 28, 2026.
