Princess Cruises’ 2027 Japan Season Sailing from Tokyo

 
 

Princess Cruises has announced its most expansive Japan deployment to date, with 78 sailings scheduled from March to December 2027. Sailing round-trip from the Tokyo region, the season will feature two Japanese-built sister ships—Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess.

The 2027 Japan season, which opens for booking on Aug. 20, 2025, offers 50 unique itineraries across 45 destinations in six countries, with cruise lengths ranging from 7 to 28 days. The deployment highlights not only scenic and cultural exploration but also includes immersive experiences timed to Japan’s most famous festivals and natural events, such as the cherry blossom season.

Deployment Highlights:

  • Two Japanese-built ships: Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess (2,670 guests each).
  • 78 departures, including a variety of Cherry Blossom, Festival, Grand Japan, Okinawa & Taiwan and Explorer cruises; 12 additional ports with extended evening stays in cities like Osaka, Hiroshima and Halong Bay.
  • 21 UNESCO World Heritage Sites featured, including Mount Fuji, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial and the monuments of Ancient Kyoto.
