PONANT EXPLORATIONS and Paul Gauguin Cruises are marking Travel Advisor Appreciation Month by offering advisors up to $1,000 in gift cards for each new booking during May 2025. This incentive applies to all new 2025 and 2026 departures reserved through the Americas-based office (in USD) and deposited within that period. To participate, advisors must submit bookings via this Gift Card Redemption Form within 30 days of deposit.
“Our success is built on the trust and dedication of the travel advisor community,” said Ellen McIlvaine, Vice President of Sales for PONANT EXPLORATIONS and Paul Gauguin Cruises in the Americas, in a press statement. “This month—and always—we celebrate our partners who deliver perspective-shifting travel experiences to their clients, with sincere appreciation for the tremendous impact they continue to have on our growth.”
PONANT and Paul Gauguin Cruises: Tools and Itineraries
Travel advisors have access to a suite of refreshed sales tools to support their efforts: the PONANT Explorer training modules provide in-depth guidance on vessel features, expedition activities and guest profiles, while the updated Sales Guides for both PONANT EXPLORATIONS and Paul Gauguin Cruises offer detailed deck plans, cabin descriptions and shore-excursion options tailored to each itinerary.
PONANT EXPLORATIONS maintains a fleet of small vessels that access remote waterways from the Norwegian fjords to Antarctica, each accommodating fewer than 250 guests and equipped with ice-class hulls for Polar routes as well as shallow drafts for rivers and coastal passages (see ponant-expeditions). For 2025–26, advisors can book voyages such as the Alaska and Inside Passage cruise on Le Dumont-d’Urville to observe glaciers and coastal wildlife, Mediterranean sailings aboard Le Bellot calling on Kotor, Dubrovnik and Syracuse, or South Pacific journeys on Le Soleal that visit Vanuatu’s volcanic islands and the Great Barrier Reef.
Paul Gauguin Cruises, meanwhile, operates the 332-guest Paul Gauguin exclusively in French Polynesia, offering three- to 14-night itineraries through the Society Islands, Gambier Islands and Tuamotu Archipelago. Sample voyages include the 7-night Tahiti to Bora Bora itinerary calling on Moorea, Huahine and Raiatea; the 10-night Society Islands Circle that adds Taha’a and Maupiti; and the 14-night Marquesas Discovery with stops at Nuku Hiva, Hiva Oa and Ua Pou.
