Ambergris Cay, the all-inclusive private island resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands, has opened 12 new Waterside Bungalows on its 1,100-acre island—and is offering a limited-time Founder’s Rate to mark the debut.

Unlike the resort’s Beachfront Bungalows, which face the open ocean, these new guestrooms look out over the island’s sound, where flat, calm water makes it easy to kayak or paddleboard straight from a private terrace. Their proximity to the Club House and dining venues makes them a natural fit for families, groups and multi-couple stays.
The collection comprises six 1-bedroom residences of approximately 1,600 sq. ft. and six 2-bedroom residences of approximately 2,257 sq. ft. Every guestroom includes a private heated plunge pool, shaded terrace, indoor-outdoor living areas with floor-to-ceiling glass and complimentary kayaks and paddleboards. A new kids’ club near the Waterside Bungalows is also expected to open later this year.
“Each new addition to Ambergris Cay is intentional, guided by a commitment to privacy, space and respect for the island’s natural surroundings,” said Andreas Naegele, vice president of hospitality at Waterloo Hotel Management Ltd, in a press statement. “The Waterside Bungalows reflect that approach, offering guests a quieter, more connected way to experience the island from the water’s edge.”
All guests have access to the resort’s full all-inclusive program: globally inspired dining, dedicated island hosts, non-motorized water sports, tennis and pickleball, yoga, e-bikes, bone fishing lessons, beach bonfires and the floating Hangover Tiki Bar. Guests can arrive by private jet on one of the Caribbean’s longest runways, fly commercial to Providenciales and take a complimentary flight to the island, or fly American Airlines direct from Miami to South Caicos for a complimentary transfer to the resort.
The Founder’s Rate includes 20 percent off, a complimentary 30-minute couples spa treatment and an exclusive waterside experience available only to Waterside Bungalow guests. Book by Aug. 31, 2026, for stays through Dec. 17, 2027. Availability is limited, and rates will not be extended.
