New Tribute Portfolio Property Opens in the Florida Keys

The Islamorada Resort Collection has announced the opening of Three Waters Resort & Marina in the Florida Keys. The new Tribute Portfolio Resort joins its existing properties, Amara Cay Resort and La Siesta Resort & Villas.

The resort features 214 guestrooms designed to reflect the relaxed ambiance of the Florida Keys, along with nine dining outlets that offer a diverse range of culinary options, including locally sourced seafood and international cuisine.

Three Waters Resort & Marina derives its name from the three bodies of water surrounding the Florida Keys: the Gulf of Mexico, Florida Bay and Atlantic Ocean.

Arrival Experience & The Cove

Upon arrival, guests will find a lobby that incorporates elements of the local mangrove environment. A Rum Library, in partnership with Key West First Legal Rum Distillery, allows guests to sample locally produced spirits during their stay.

The resort’s accommodations are centrally located and designed with warm tones and wood finishes, drawing inspiration from the colors of the surrounding waters and sunsets of the Florida Keys. Later in 2024, The Cove, an adults-only section of the resort, will open, featuring king rooms and suites. This area will provide a quieter retreat with exclusive amenities, including a private beach lagoon, a dedicated pool, and a fitness studio.

Water Activities, Key-West Style

As Islamorada is recognized as the “Sport Fishing Capital of the World,” Three Waters Resort offers various activities and programming for guests to engage with the local water-based environment. The resort provides a “Fish Like a Local” class, which includes instruction on fly casting, filleting fish, and lobstering, led by local experts.

Guests will also have access to water sports equipment through a partnership with BOTE, including kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Spray Watersports, located at the marina, offers jet ski tours and eco-tours, while the Islamorada Dive Center provides scuba diving charters, courses, snorkeling, and spearfishing.

Culinary Offerings

The resort will feature a range of dining options, including:

  • A signature restaurant, set to be announced, focusing on land and sea dishes.
  • The Tiki Bar, known for the original Rum Runner cocktail.
  • Mercado Morada, offering Central American street food.
  • Little Limón, an elevated raw bar with ocean views.
  • Islamorada Pizza Co., serving a variety of pizzas.
  • Lucky Twist, a beachside ice cream shop.
  • Kokomo, the only swim-up bar in the Keys.
  • Hideaway, providing light dining options at The Cove.
  • A Starbucks located on the property.
