Avanti Destinations recently introduced a dedicated Last-Minute Booking service for travel advisors, streamlining the process for trips that need to be arranged in a hurry. This service is aimed at clients who are either spontaneous or have postponed their travel decisions, especially for summer trips. Advisors can access this service by calling 1-888-970-0341 or by emailing [email protected], facilitating bookings from seven to 30 days before the client’s departure.

“In Europe, we still have good summer availability in Greece at some of the best places to stay, as well as private and small group sightseeing tours on popular Santorini and Mykonos islands,” said Gina Bang, Avanti’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, in a press statement. “Outside of Europe, right now is peak season in Peru, the most popular destination in South America, so we’d like to suggest that advisors book their clients there in September, October and November—when there are fewer tourists, and more sun, warmer temperatures than peak dry season.”

Avanti’s Recommendations for Summer Travel

For advisors with clients looking for summer escapes that still have space, Avanti recommends considering tours of the Sacred Valley and Cuzco, which are currently showing good availability for the approaching fall season. Avanti is also angling for culinary enthusiasts with its introduction of new experiences, including a private tour in the Sacred Valley featuring a traditional Pachamanca lunch cooked in an underground oven and an Andean distillery tour. Additionally, a new offering in Lima includes a private gastronomic night tour complemented by dinner. The itinerary also includes a visit to an Andean community, where clients can share a meal, experience traditional music, and engage with local residents. Adventure is also on tap: in the Sacred Valley, clients can enjoy the serenity of a lagoon by paddleboarding or kayaking.

Avanti adds Greece as another recommendation, as advisors will find that select premium accommodations on the islands of Santorini and Mykonos are currently available.
