Hyatt has announced the expansion of its all-inclusive portfolio with the upcoming Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, set to open by the end of 2025. This new addition follows the debut of the Hyatt Vivid Grand Island, which launched in 2024.
Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts is designed for modern adult travelers seeking an all-inclusive experience that blends relaxation with engaging activities and elevated dining options. According to Christian Porcayo, Hyatt Vivid Grand Island’s Social Media Manager, the brand is built around four core pillars: Wellness, Technology, Engaging Activities and Dining. It aims to attract a broad generational mix, including Generation X, Millennials and Centennials.
A New Era for All-Inclusive Resorts
Guests will have access to a state-of-the-art spa, indoor and outdoor fitness centers, pickleball and tennis courts and a juice and healthy snack bar. Dining options will include five specialty restaurants, a sports bar, a barefoot beach grill and bar and a speakeasy jazz club. Additionally, the resort will feature four pools, swim-out rooms and a pool with a dedicated wet bar.
Antonio Fungairino, Head of Development for Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, emphasized the significance of this expansion in a recent press statement. “Hyatt’s continued brand growth in the region, from sought-after beach towns like Playa Esmeralda, Punta Cana, and Cap Cana, further solidifies the Dominican Republic’s reputation as a premier destination for luxury hospitality.”
Hyatt’s expansion in the Dominican Republic includes the recent opening of Dreams Cap Cana Resort & Spa and the anticipated launches of Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa and Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa. These developments will increase Hyatt’s all-inclusive resort presence in the region by approximately 30% this year.
