Hyatt Announces First Andaz Hotel in Florida

Hyatt has announced the transformation of The Confidante Miami Beach into Andaz Miami Beach, marking the debut of the luxury Andaz brand in Florida.

Following a comprehensive renovation, the reimagined property, owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc., is set to open in 2025, featuring refreshed spaces, unique programming and an innovative dining collaboration with Jose Andres Group.

A Landmark for Hyatt

The revamped Andaz Miami Beach will invite guests to immerse themselves in Miami’s eclectic culture through a series of thoughtfully designed spaces, including a welcoming, open-concept lobby, two reconceptualized pools with outdoor recreation, a revitalized spa and enhanced guestrooms. The Jose Andres Group partnership will bring elevated culinary experiences, setting the hotel apart as a South Florida dining destination.

As the first Andaz hotel in Florida, this property is expected to strengthen Hyatt’s brand presence in one of the world’s premier leisure markets. Andaz Miami Beach will join a portfolio of 29 Andaz hotels globally, a brand known for connecting guests to authentic local experiences while inspiring curiosity and self-expression.

Occupying three towers along the oceanfront, Andaz Miami Beach will launch three unique dining venues: a restaurant with all-day service, a craft cocktail bar that celebrates both timeless and modern creations and a signature dining concept inspired by Miami’s vibrant culinary landscape. Each venue will offer distinct local flavors with a José Andrés twist, catering to both guests and locals alike.
