“Sinners” is heading to Halloween Horror Nights this fall, with themed haunted houses debuting at Universal Orlando Resort on Aug. 28 and Universal Studios Hollywood on Sept. 3.
Inspired by the Warner Bros. Pictures horror film, the new experience will transport guests to Club Juke, where they will encounter red-eyed vampires Remmick, Bert and Joan, along with characters from the movie, including Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline and Cornbread.
The haunted house storyline follows twins Smoke and Stack as guests navigate encounters with vampires throughout the attraction. The addition comes after the film surpassed $370 million at the global box office and gained momentum among horror audiences and critics.
Supernatural Horror Film Comes to Life
“The moment ‘Sinners’ premiered, we knew it was an undeniable fit for Halloween Horror Nights, and it’s an honor to bring this story to life,” said Mike Aiello, Senior Director of Entertainment Creative Development at Universal Orlando Resort, in a media statement. “It’s rare for a film to fully satisfy hardcore horror fans while also inviting new audiences into the genre—and that’s exactly what Sinners does.”
With a selection of event tickets on sale at both parks, guests can begin planning their visits this fall. A variety of Halloween Horror Nights ticket options for Universal Studios Hollywood are now available, while at Universal Orlando, guests can purchase select tickets, upgrades and event-inclusive vacation packages.
The popular event returns for its milestone 35th year in Orlando, running 48 select nights from August 28 through Nov. 1. All-new merchandise inspired by the “Sinners” haunted house is now available. Fans can celebrate the upcoming house in style with a limited-release t-shirt and hat. Additionally, an acrylic figure inspired by the house is now available for purchase.
