The Grenada Tourism Authority has announced that Delta Air Lines’ new nonstop daily service connecting Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND) in Grenada is now available for bookings. This addition to air service begins Dec. 20, 2025.

“As we get ready to welcome Delta Air Lines’ flight from Atlanta this December, we celebrate a new era of connectivity and opportunity for Grenada’s tourism and business sector,” said Senator Adrian Thomas, Minister for Tourism, in a press statement. “This service enhances access to our beautiful island, making it even easier for travelers to experience our rich culture, warm hospitality, and stunning natural landscapes. We look forward to a successful partnership with Delta Air Lines and the continued growth of our tourism industry.”

Details on Delta’s New Route to The Spice Island

Operating daily year-round, the new route provides travel advisors with expanded inventory for both holiday season travel and beyond. The flight schedule offers morning departures from Atlanta at 9:40 a.m., arriving in Grenada at 3:15 p.m. Beginning March 9, 2026, the schedule will adjust slightly with arrival in Grenada at 2:15 p.m. For return travel, flights will depart Grenada at 4:30 p.m. (shifting to 3:30 p.m. after March 9) and arrive in Atlanta at 8:50 p.m. Delta will service this route using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The addition of daily service creates substantial opportunities for travel advisors working with clients throughout the United States. With Atlanta serving as Delta’s primary hub, the new route establishes convenient one-stop connections from numerous U.S. cities, making Grenada more accessible than ever for American travelers.

This service expansion comes as Grenada develops its tourism infrastructure and luxury hospitality offerings. The island has received recognition for its authentic cultural experiences and natural attractions, including rainforests, waterfalls and world-class diving opportunities at sites like the underwater sculpture park.

“We are thrilled to welcome Delta Air Lines’ new daily service from Atlanta, which marks a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance air connectivity to the island,” said Petra Roach, CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority, in a press statement. “Hartsfield Jackson is the busiest airport in the USA and connects over 104 million passengers to more than 200 destinations worldwide, offering seamless access to Grenada. Beyond convenience, this service deepens our ties with Atlanta’s diverse community—home to over 6.2 million people, including a thriving Grenadian diaspora and a vibrant African American population. By restoring this link, we are reaffirming relationships, expanding possibilities, and ensuring more travelers can experience the magic of Grenada.”
