Celestyal Cruises is adding two new Athens-to-Jeddah sailings to its 2026-27 winter season in the Arabian Gulf, following strong demand for the line’s Gulf voyages.
Celestyal Journey will depart on Nov. 14 for a 7-night voyage with calls at Port Said and Safaga, Egypt; a Suez Canal transit; Aqaba, Jordan; and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Celestyal Discovery will depart on an 8-night voyage on Nov. 20, calling at the same destinations as well as Kusadasi, Turkey.
Following these departures, both ships will continue their passage from Jeddah to the Arabian Gulf to begin their winter sailing season.
“The strong demand for our Athens to Jeddah sailings last year confirmed the growing appeal of longer, destination-led voyages that connect both iconic and lesser-known ports across these popular regions,” said John Diorio, Managing Director and Vice President, Business Development for Celestyal in North America. “Building on that success, these new sailings allow us to offer guests a truly unmissable journey while also providing a seamless transition into our third consecutive Arabian Gulf season.”
Updated Winter Season Itineraries
Celestyal Journey will continue her Arabian Gulf season, operating a new version of the seven-night “Desert Days” itinerary through March 2027, sailing round-trip from Doha and calling at Dubai (overnight), Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas Island and Bahrain.
Celestyal Discovery, also operating in the region through March 2027, will sail the line’s three-, four- and seven-night “Iconic Arabia” cruises, sailing roundtrip from Abu Dhabi, calling at Doha, Khasab, Dubai, Sir Bani Yas Island and Ras Al Khaimah.
These new sailings replace the three-night “Iconic Greek Islands” voyage departing November 20. Travel partners with impacted bookings have been notified, guaranteed protected commission, and provided with updated guest rebooking options.
