Azamara Cruises is relaunching its Azamara Ashore land programs, extending the brand’s signature Destination Immersion philosophy with more meaningful pre- and post-cruise travel experiences.
The Azamara Ashore collection will roll out 17 new programs between 2026 and 2028—including six brand-new offerings debuting in 2026—bringing the total portfolio to 84 land programs across Africa, Oceania, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
“At Azamara, every journey is designed to be more than a passing visit; it’s an opportunity to truly connect with the places visited and the people who call them home,” said Dondra Ritzenthaler, CEO of Azamara Cruises, in a media statement. “The relaunch of Azamara Ashore is a direct response to what guests have been asking for—deeper, more immersive experiences that allow them to spend more time in each destination and engage with it in a more natural, unhurried way.”
Three Ways to Extend the Journey Ashore
Your clients can choose from Hotel Stays that simplify arrivals and departures with optional transfers and end-to-end logistics; immersive City Stays that offer two-night cultural discoveries; and extended AzAmazing Journeys, which provide 3–6 nights of deeper exploration through local cuisine, cultural connections and immersive experiences ashore.
Azamara has also partnered with the luggage shipping service Ship&Play to make pre- and post-cruise travel even more seamless. Guests can send their bags door-to-door from home or a trusted carrier location directly to their stateroom or hotel, with delivery timed before or after the cruise and supported by a dedicated 7-day cruise concierge team.
As an added incentive, guests who booked an AzAmazing Journey or City Stay package also receive a $50 per person luggage voucher when booked in advance.
