Azamara Cruises Launches Alaska Training and Advisor Incentives

In celebration of Travel Advisor Appreciation Month, Azamara Cruises is rolling out new tools, promotions and exclusive incentives to recognize the vital role of travel advisors in the brand’s global success.

Throughout May, Azamara is spotlighting its trade partners with weekly giveaways, bonus commission opportunities and the debut of a new educational course focused on Alaska, timed to support the cruise line’s highly anticipated return to the region in 2026.

All for Travel Advisors

“At Azamara Cruises, our travel advisor community is at the core of our success—they’re not just partners, they’re an integral part of everything we do,” said Michelle Lardizabal, Chief Sales Officer, North America, in a media statement. “Their insights and collaboration have been instrumental in shaping the Azamara World Academy. This program, along with enhanced commission opportunities, reflects our deep commitment to supporting and empowering our advisors.”

A key highlight of this year’s appreciation campaign is the launch of Azamara’s Alaska Educational Program, now live on the Azamara World Academy platform.

The course is designed to deepen advisors’ knowledge of the Alaska region and includes four chapters. Advisors earn the Azamara Cruises Expert badge upon completing the first three chapters and are designated as an Azamara Cruises Alaska Specialist after completing the final module.

Graduates of the new course are eligible for multiple perks, including:

  • A $100 bonus commission on any booking made within 30 days of course completion
  • Additional CLIA credits
  • Weekly giveaways for advisors who post Azamara voyage photos to the Azamara Alliance Travel Partner Group on Facebook
  • A commemorative “Destination Immersion® Elevated” pin for the first 100 graduates
  • An official certificate and Alaska Specialist logo for marketing use

Additionally, advisors can earn Double Group Amenity Points on select sailings through the end of May.
