Audley Travel has released its expanded 2025 program, offering unique experiences in less-visited regions and exclusive access to cultural events.
“Taking inspiration from client requests, these new and ultra-authentic experiences and accommodations in Italy, Japan and New Zealand have seen our destination experts pulling on their deep knowledge of their specialist countries,” said Alex Bentley, Head of Product at Audley TravelAlex Bentley, Head of Product at Audley Travel, in a press statement. “As well as exploring away from the crowds, offering something truly authentic can also mean having exclusive access or experiences that very few others get to see—the Verona Opera Festival itinerary delivers exactly this as it is super limited to a very small number of visitors.”

Audley Around the World

Audley is broadening its Dolomites offerings in Italy, capitalizing on new international routes from American Airlines and Delta. The itinerary now includes villages around the Sella Massive and overnight stays in Bolzano. Clients can explore South Tyrol’s capital, visit the Archaeological Museum’s ‘Man from the Ice’ and engage with local experts to discover Bolzano’s thousand-year-old beer culture. Visiting Seiser Alm allows travelers to participate in traditional cheesemaking amid stunning alpine scenery. A 10-day custom Best of the Dolomites trip starts at $7,420 per person, including vehicle hire, accommodations and private guided excursions.

Audley has also created a VIP experience for the Verona Opera Festival, which runs from June to September. This exclusive package includes a Michelin-starred dinner on one of Verona’s oldest terraces, backstage access and prime Royal Box seating for two performances. The 6-day custom trip costs $7,595 per person.

In New Zealand, Audley now features the Hump Ridge Track, which opened in October. This 3-day loop takes hikers through a less-visited part of Fjordland, offering coastal views, sub-alpine zones and historic viaducts. It is suitable for independent or guided walks and can be enhanced with helicopter tours. A 21-day custom New Zealand trip, including the Hump Ridge Track, starts at $10,170 per person.

For Japan enthusiasts, Audley has added five properties from the Nipponia portfolio to its 2025 program. These luxuriously renovated historic buildings include a former salt farm owners’ residence in Hiroshima prefecture, a 600-year-old Edo Merchant Town in Chiba, restored Meiji Era buildings in Fukuoka, cultural properties along Kyoto’s Kamo River and a former sake brewery in Nara.
