Air travel to Israel and other parts of the Middle East has been affected as airlines cancel flights due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
Iran, Iraq and Jordan have closed down airspace and Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport is closed.
EL AL Airlines, Air France, KLM, Emirates and Qatar Airways, among other airlines, have canceled flights to the region, with Delta Air Lines saying it has suspended all flights to Tel Aviv until August.

EL AL flights scheduled to depart up to and including June 30, 2025, are currently closed for new bookings, with the airline advising customers that have flights scheduled for Saturday evening, June 14, 2025, or Sunday, June 15 2025, not to come to the airport and to await updates regarding their flight status. For customers currently abroad, the airline is recommending they arrange accommodations until there is a change in security directives.

Reuters is reporting that FlightRadar data is showing airspace over Iran, Iraq and Jordan empty, with flights directed towards Saudi Arabia and Egypt instead.
