AmaWaterways has expanded its educational offerings for travel advisors with the launch of Course 5: The Rivers of France, an interactive online module designed to provide in-depth knowledge of the company’s French sailings along the Saone, Rhone, Seineoand their tributaries.
Travel advisors who complete each course earn rewards, including reduced FAM rates for Course 1: Heart of the River, and a $50 gift card when booking a new reservation within 90 days of course completion.

Building on the foundation of the previous four courses, the new module delves into the details of AmaWaterways’ French fleet, including the AmaDante, AmaDolce, AmaLyra and AmaKristina. It also highlights itineraries and optional land packages. The course includes sales tips to help travel advisors confidently guide their clients in choosing AmaWaterways for their next river cruise adventure.

- Course 1: AmaWaterways, Heart of the River outlines the history, people and important product features by AmaWaterways.
- Course 2: The Danube River with AmaWaterways provides travel advisors with the insider knowledge they need to inspire their clients to cruise the Danube River.
- Course 3: Group Business with AmaWaterways offers travel advisors everything they need to know about growing their group business.
- Course 4: The Rhine, Main and Moselle Rivers with AmaWaterways is a new course that will help travel advisors sell AmaWaterways’ cruises on the Rhine River and along its tributaries, the Main and Moselle Rivers.
AmaAcademy is a key feature of the AmaWaterways Travel Advisor Portal, offering access to essential tools such as the Online Booking Engine, current promotions, the Travel Advisors’ Sales Guide, FAM opportunities and weekly webinars hosted by company executives. The portal also includes over 30 marketing toolkits, which provide sales strategies to encourage ocean cruisers to try river cruising with AmaWaterways.
