ALG Vacations (ALGV) has announced its 2026 event calendar, designed to align with distinct business goals, markets and professional development stages. The lineup features FAMs, recognition retreats, educational conferences and development programs that connect participants directly with destinations and partners.

“At ALG Vacations, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all events,” said Jacki Marks, Global Head of Trade Sales & Engagement, in a press statement. “Every advisor has different goals, different strengths, and different types of travelers they want to attract. Our 2026 events are designed to help advisors be intentional about where they invest their time by choosing experiences that align with how they want to grow their business and what type of client they want to attract.”

The year began with Advisors in Action: Come Back to Give Back in Jamaica from Jan. 31–Feb. 4, emphasizing voluntourism and community support. Each program in 2026 extends ALGV’s focus on education, connection, and destination engagement.

The Elite program continues its tiered structure, rewarding top-producing agencies.

  • Elite Sapphire Select Retreat, Apr. 15–18 at Dreams Puerto Morelos, qualifies agencies with at least $400,000 in revenue for personalized service and benefits.
  • Elite Emerald Retreat, May 13–16 at Secrets & Dreams Playa Esmeralda, recognizes agencies earning over $800,000, offering expanded rewards and an exclusive promo code.
  • Elite Diamond Retreat, Nov. 19–22 at Secrets & Dreams La Romana, honors agencies with revenue exceeding $1.6 million, with a Diamond Preferred tier for those surpassing $3.2 million.

The WAVEMAKER Event, Aug. 4–7 at Secrets Mirabel Cancun, brings together the top 1,000 performers in the WAVES loyalty program, with the leading 50 invited to attend. The top 150 hold WAVEMAKER PLUS status, which grants additional privileges and networking with executives.

Education and Destination Immersion

  • Pros on the Go: Cancun, June 15–19, and Pros on the Go: Punta Cana, July 27–31, will deliver large-scale educational FAMs with supplier sessions, site inspections and excursions.
  • The Fiji & Australia FAM with Fiji Airways, Aug. 13–22, offers small-group learning for those committed to the Indo-Pacific market.
  • Pros in Paradise: Europe, Sept. 8–16, includes site visits to London and Ireland, experiences and access to leadership.

Skill Building and Development

Roadshows (Feb.–May) will spotlight group travel strategies across U.S. cities. The flagship Ascend Conference, Oct. 21–24 in Cancun, will include professional workshops, keynote presentations and a 2-day tradeshow with more than 100 partners. A new Content Creators Trip in Dec. 2026 will focus on digital storytelling and social engagement.

Kindness Movement Initiatives

The Kindness Conference and Kindness Connection, July 13–17 at Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun, center on leadership and mentorship for groups of 40 each. ALGV’s Carson Kressley will appear at select events, contributing insights on branding and storytelling.

“Each event is designed with a specific purpose in mind,” said Jim Tedesco, Vice President of Sales, in a press statement. “Whether an advisor is focused on overall sales growth, product specialization, group business, or content creation, our goal is to help them choose the experiences that will deliver the most value for their business.”
