Advisors looking to experience Peru, including Machu Picchu, can join Tara Tours for a weeklong FAM trip departing this winter.

The Peru and Machu Picchu FAM, which will run Dec. 1-8, 2018, will start with two nights in Lima, where advisors will have the opportunity to explore the city with a guided tour and sleep in a four-star hotel in the Miraflores district. Advisors will then spend two nights in the Sacred Valley, where they’ll take a full-day private tour of the town of Pisac before boarding the Vistadome train for an approximately 2-hour ride to Machu Picchu with views of the Urubamba River and the Andean mountain range. A guided tour of the Inca ruins will be provided and agents will then spend the night in Aguas Calientes, a town at the base of the ruins. Advisors can spend the next day exploring Aguas Calientes, known for its thermal baths, re-visiting Machu Picchu on their own, or climbing Huayna Picchu. Advisors will then transfer to Cuzco where they will spend an additional two nights. Highlights of the stay in Cuzco include a guided tour of the colonial city and visits to the Temple of Koricancha or Sun God, the cathedral and nearby ruins.

The price of this FAM starts at $1,799 pp dbl with the option of bringing a companion for $2,299 pp. Included in this price are accommodations, a Tara Tours escort, all gratuities and private tours with an English-speaking guide, domestic airfare between Cuzco and Lima, as well as some meals.
