Glamping season opens May 11 at The Resort at Paws Up, a 37,000-acre working cattle ranch that offers luxury getaways in western Montana.

Celebrating its 15th year of welcoming new and returning guests for a glamping experience, The Resort at Paws Up offers 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom luxury tent accommodations, a dedicated glamping butler, a wellness spa tent, and gourmet dining experiences. Meals are prepared by a culinary team that serves daily breakfast and dinner at the camp’s accompanying Dining Pavilion. Meals are prepared using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients that include chili-dusted black angus steak, whole roasted rainbow trout, grilled bison steaks and savory salmon, plus organic salads, grilled local asparagus and summer vegetable succotash. Lunch, coffee, snacks and refreshments are offered throughout the day at The Resort’s Trough restaurant and self-serve Ranch Table located in the Paws Up Village.

At Paws Up, there are six campsites to choose from, each with six tents and a central Dining Pavilion. The Cliffside Camp offers views perched high above and overlooking the Blackfoot River, while the Creekside Camp is ideal for families with plenty of wooded space for kids to play along the banks of Elk Creek, plus fire pits for s’mores. Pinnacle Camp is situated on a bluff offering several options for swimming and fishing, as well as views of both the Blackfoot River and Elk Creek. Moonlight Camp is tucked away in a private section of the property with private river access nearby and views of the Lewis & Clark’s Lookout Rock. At North Bank Camp, guests will find 3-bedroom tents with balconies overlooking the river, plus a stand-alone Dining Pavilion that includes a fireplace and glass walls for nearly unobstructed views. Meanwhile, the River Camp offers a simpler experience with tents sitting directly on the banks of the Blackfoot River. All six camps feature en suite bathrooms with heated floors, temperature control, Wi-Fi, down comforters, rustic chic interior decor and more.

While glamping at Paws Up, guests can participate in more than 50 outdoor activities, including authentic cattle drives, chuck wagon dinners, geocaching, hot air ballooning, and whitewater rafting on the Blackfoot River.
