Perillo Tours Adds Depth to 2026 Italy Tours with New Two-City Experiences

Perillo Tours has released its 2026 portfolio of escorted Italy tours—including two new itineraries designed for clients who prefer to explore in depth without frequent hotel changes.

Debuting for the 2026 season, the new itineraries each feature extended stays in two cities, allowing for regional exploration while minimizing the need to unpack and repack.

Perillo Tours’ Immersive Italy Tours

Gems of Italy: This 9-day journey blends Northern Italy’s cultural highlights, pairing three nights in Genoa with four nights in Florence. While based in Genoa, guests will visit nearby Portofino, Piemonte and Cinque Terre, plus enjoy truffle hunting and wine tasting.

In Florence, the itinerary includes wine tastings and day trips to Venice and the scenic hilltop villages of Val d’Orcia. Departures are available from April through October 2026.

La Dolce Vita: This 9-day tour combines the history of Rome with the coastal allure of Sorrento. Guests will spend three nights in Rome visiting iconic sites such as the Colosseum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, along with a side trip to Pompeii.

The experience continues with four nights in Sorrento, featuring excursions to Capri, Positano, and the Amalfi Coast. Departures running from April to October 2026.

“This style of itinerary is something we’ve found our guests really value,” said Steve Perillo, third-generation owner of Perillo Tours, in a press statement. “By anchoring the itinerary in just two Italian cities, our guests can settle in and explore each destination and its surrounding region in more depth.”

Perillo Tours will also continue offering its popular “city pair” itineraries in 2026, including:

Rome & Amalfi Coast: A smaller group experience capped at 30 guests, this 9-day itinerary features three nights in Rome and four nights in Amalfi. Highlights include tours of the Sistine Chapel, Colosseum, Pompeii and visits to Ravello and Positano; departures from March through November.

Taste of Sicily: Taormina and Palermo: Travelers will explore Sicily with four nights in Taormina and three nights in Palermo. The experience includes Mount Etna, the towns of Savoca and Cefalu, and the salt beds of Trapani; April to October departures.

Perillo’s 2026 Italy portfolio features 13 escorted itineraries ranging from the 10-day Vesuvius Tour to the flagship Italy North Classic, a 13-night journey through Milan, Venice, Florence, Sorrento, and Rome.
