Drawing inspiration from the hotel’s namesake, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando turned to Portofino and the Italian Riviera for its newly designed guestrooms.
Following a $14 million renovation project, the 750-room hotel has unveiled its redesigned guestrooms, featuring neutral cream colors and shades of aqua set against marble furnishings and white-washed furniture, showcasing “the charm, romance and glamour of Portofino, Italy’s grand vacation villas and hotels.” In addition, the hotel features three themed pools, seven restaurants and lounges, and a spa.
Loews Portofino Bay is located at Universal Orlando Resort and connected to Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk. Hotel guests receive benefits such as complimentary Universal Express Unlimited ride access, allowing them to skip the regular line at the theme parks.
