American Cruise Lines‘ new Mississippi riverboat, American Serenade, will kick off its inaugural season with a special antique-themed cruise: clients who are fans of the TV show “Antiques Roadshow” will be absolutely thrilled with the Antiques cruise departing on April 27, 2023.

The specially-themed classic 8-day Lower Mississippi River cruise takes off from Memphis, Tennessee and ends in New Orleans, Louisiana. During the voyage, your clients will have the chance to be part of the audience of a taping of an actual “Antiques Roadshow” event at the LSU Rural Life Museum on May 2. They’ll also be able to bring up to two items to be appraised.

“American Cruise Lines’ guests have a common bond with ANTIQUES ROADSHOW’s millions of weekly viewers in their shared passion for American culture, and in uncovering the fascinating histories which often exist right in our own backyards,” said Charles B. Robertson, president & CEO of American Cruise Lines, in a press statement. “We are so pleased to offer this special opportunity to our guests.”

Focus on Food and Antiques on American Cruise Lines

Clients aboard the antiques-themed cruise will also enjoy a focus on food—think cooking demos and wine pairings, among other tasty events. The journey will feature special experts on board and onshore, plus immersive experiences to help your clients make the most of this journey down the Mississippi River.

Please note this Antiques cruise is a one-off for 2023. Your clients will be happy to know the sailing includes complimentary domestic airfare and a complimentary pre-cruise hotel stay in Memphis, Tennessee. The American Serenade is one of five new riverboats that can take your clients on over 11 different itineraries on the Mississippi River from February through December 2023.
