American Cruise Lines is doubling its capacity on the Columbia and Snake rivers. The 3-year-old Queen of the Mississippi, with its oversized staterooms and private balconies, is headed to the Pacific Northwest to join the Queen of the West on the Columbia and Snake rivers. The new 185-passenger riverboat America will replace the Queen of the Mississippi on the Mississippi River in early 2016 and the Queen of the Mississippi will be renamed.

The Queen of the Mississippi features large sliding glass doors that open to private balconies, a glass-enclosed dining room, and seven spacious lounges. Guests also have the opportunity to learn about the Pacific Northwest history and culture while on board.

Additionally, construction is underway on a new Queen of the Mississippi. For more information, call (800) 814-6880 or visit americancruiselines.com.
