Allegiant Air launched new nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale from San Antonio earlier this month amidst news of the recent inaugurations of its nonstop services from Rochester to Fort Lauderdale and Rochester to Orlando/Sanford. The low-cost air carrier will operate the new service twice a week between Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and San Antonio International Airport (SAT) with fares starting at low as $55 one way.
