Chicago is welcoming four new concepts—from international brands refurbishing heritage buildings to chef-driven, art-filled boutiques—debuting this winter/spring.

21c Museum Hotel, Chicago, in the River North / Magnificent Mile Neighborhood, is projected to open winter 2019 / 2020. From the MGallery Hotel Collection, the hotel, located just steps from the Michigan Avenue Shopping District, Millennium Park and downtown Chicago, will feature a contemporary art museum that is free and open to the public 365 days/year, offering guided docent tours and regular cultural programming, plus artwork by local Chicago artists displayed on every guest floor. Nobu Hotel Chicago, in the West Loop Neighborhood, is projected to open in early 2020. The architecture, and 115 rooms and suites blend old-world Japanese influences with ultra-modern design, and amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor tranquility pool and multi-use suite and ballroom spaces for private social functions. Jewelers Building Hotel, located in The Loop Neighborhood, is projected to open next year. The historic Jewelers Building on Jewelers Row—designated a city landmark on the National Register of Historic Places—is being renovated as a 39-room boutique hotel.

A dual-branded Hyatt House Hotel/ Hyatt Place, located in Chicago’s Illinois Medical District, is projected to open in 2020. The old Cook County Hospital is being transfored into a dual-branded Hyatt House Hotel/Hyatt Placewith a combined 210 guestrooms accompanied by medical office and retail space.
