Solmar Hotels & Resorts in Los Cabos, Mexico, has released a video message directed towards its past and future guests to thank them for the measures they have taken to ease the spread of the virus and to communicate that, no matter how much they may miss travel, their second home will be waiting for them.
The heartfelt message comes out as the hotelier has recently announced the closure of its seven all-suites hotels in Los Cabos, and serves as a message of hope in the midst of the global pandemic. Richard Orozco, v.p. of operations at Solmar Hotels & Resorts, expects hotels to be up and running by May 2, 2020, but the team is closely monitoring information about the virus and will make changes according to updates on the spread.
The video starts by noting how travelers have been coming to Solmar for years, and families for generations, and that the resorts have not only become second homes, but the resort staff have become like second families to Solmar guests. Set against the backdrop of an idyllic beach landscape, the video affirms the uplifting message: “In times like these we want you to know that we are still here, your Solmar Family, going through this with you standing together as we always have.” Inspiring guests to contemplate future travel, it urges travelers to “stay well and we’ll be back together soon.”
