The Royal Uno All Inclusive Resort & Spa beachfront resort will open December 2020 following a multimillion-dollar renovation of the former The Royal Caribbean and will offer an all-inclusive concept.

Ushering in a new phase for the resort company, Royal Uno marks an expansion of Royal Resorts into the all-inclusive vacation market, offering experiences for families, honeymooners, and singles. The all-new resort, from the welcoming entry to the contemporary rooms and suites, will feature an open design offering endless sea views, earth tones with modern accents and fresh Caribbean colors.

Royal Uno’s transformation includes a complete renovation and redesign of the rooms, lobby and service areas. The resort will offer a mix of 540 new rooms and 1- and 2-bedroom suites encompassing a private oceanview terrace or balcony, queen- or king-size beds, smart TV, WiFi, Bluetooth speakers, coffee maker and minibar. Equipped for a comfortable and relaxing stay, each suite features an independent living and dining area, a tub and separate shower in the bath plus a spacious terrace. Several of the suites also offer whirlpools on the terraces and there are 13 ground floor beachfront suites with plunge pools.

With five new restaurants serving international, Mexican, Italian and Asian cuisine, a cafe, and a grab & go counter, a gourmet dining experience awaits guests at Royal Uno. The elevated all-inclusive resort will also feature an impressive array of amenities including two oversized pools, a children’s pool with water play area, spa, watersports, swim-up bar and beach bar, a kids club, and family room for video games and movies. Guests will also enjoy kayaks and sailboats on the lagoon, daily activities and evening entertainment.

Alea Spa, meanwhile, will offer a range of ancestral indigenous herbal treatments woven into massages, body wraps and more.

Set in the heart of the Cancun Hotel Zone, Royal Uno offers panoramic views of the Caribbean and Nichupte Lagoon, and is just steps away from the Maya Museum and San Miguelito archaeological site.

Special opening week rates start at $289 per night dbl. Children under the age of 15 stay free at certain times during the year. For more information, visit royalunoresort.com.
