Paradero has revealed details of its new catamaran experiences in the Sea of Cortez, exclusive for guests at Paradero Todos Santos.

The Paradero brand launched in February 2021 with an inaugural property in Todos Santos, Pescadero, situated on the coastline of the Gulf of California. With an emphasis on connecting guests with nature, wellness, adventure, and local culture, the hotel and landscaping project is inspired by its surroundings, which span five different ecosystems, including the historic farming community of La Mesa.

Paradero Offering Exclusive Sights for Clients in the Sea of Cortez

The brand’s new Paradero Sea of Cortez catamaran itineraries take guests on an ocean journey to discover pristine beaches, uninhabited islands, secret snorkeling spots, and off-the-beaten-path coastal locales, in the region dubbed the “Aquarium of the World” by French oceanographer Jacques Cousteau.

Guests join the custom-built catamaran at a marina located just an hour’s drive from Paradero Todos Santos and visit nearby destinations such as Isla Partida, Isla Ballena and La Paz. Notable ports-of-call include Espiritu Santo Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site with red volcanic rock formations and abundant wildlife such as sea turtles, stingrays, blue whales, orcas, grey whales and 98 species of birds. Other highlights include a snorkel through sea caves at the Caleta Partida, a beach set-up on the shores of the crescent-shaped Playa Bonanza, and a hike along the Cascada Seca trek at Playa Candelero.

The catamaran was constructed over a 15-month period in Vendée, France by Lagoon Catamarans, during which period Paradero advised on its sustainable design and materials. The vessel has been built with 30 percent of the resin used in its hull crafted from recycled fibers, and interior wood sourced from FSC-certified forests. All fabrics in the saloon and cockpit are also made from recycled materials. The sailboat offers four cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom and separate shower, and nearly 500 sf of living space.

Paradero’s Full-Day Sailing Experience starts at $4,480 and has capacity for up to 10 passengers and includes 7-8 hours of sailing; while the Paradero Baja Getaway starts at $8,320 and is a 2-night, 3-day journey with capacity for up to 8 guests. Both options include full-service, dining, an open bar, and round-trip transportation between Paradero Todos Santos and the marina.

The Paradero Sea of Cortez experience is only available for Paradero Todos Santos guests and it is not available for a standalone catamaran reservation at this time.
